Description

  • Operationalize global talent programs across Canada and the US, including onboarding, mentoring, rewards, recognition, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to employees on HR queries, company policies, procedures, and local labor laws.
  • Support US and Canadian benefits administration, including annual renewals, market analysis, open enrollment, and issue escalation.
  • Partner with Finance and Payroll to prepare and verify data for accurate, timely payroll processing.
  • Advise on and ensure compliance with North American employment laws and local Labor Code requirements.
  • Update, maintain, and audit HRIS data in Workday to preserve data integrity and improve process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Global Talent Team on regional and global internal compliance projects.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for mid-to-senior level positions across multiple departments.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, and referrals.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for both technical capability and cultural alignment.
  • Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements and provide talent acquisition guidance.
  • Maintain, audit, and update the ATS to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources with experience in employee relations and full-cycle recruiting.
  • Practical knowledge of both Canadian and US labor laws and compliance regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and cross-border processes simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Experience navigating benefits and government portals.
  • Experience hiring product-minded candidates in the US and Canada.
  • Strong sourcing skills with experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent platforms.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international, or matrixed organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
