Description

  • Recruit, train, and develop the store management team and retail staff.
  • Lead customer service efforts to exceed daily sales goals and create an inclusive customer experience.
  • Educate customers and staff on brand values, products, and ethical business practices.
  • Develop and execute business plans to improve KPIs, sales goals, and long-term business performance.
  • Coach, develop, and provide constructive feedback to team members through ongoing performance support.
  • Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives within the store team.
  • Manage performance concerns and create action plans to improve employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace standards, health and safety protocols, and labor practices.
  • Oversee stock levels, inventory ordering, waste control, and inventory reporting.
  • Plan schedules, breaks, and staffing levels to meet peak demand while staying within budget.
  • Create and maintain a clean, visually appealing, well-merchandised store environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience managing in a retail environment.
  • Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills.
  • Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
  • Experience with consultation-based customer service models (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Suite, and other systems as needed (preferred).
  • Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training (preferred).
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages (preferred).
