Description

  • Collaborate with GDC Consulting Operations to identify and assign project resources to client engagements.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in ideation and consultation meetings with GDC and onshore counterparts.
  • Manage assigned projects when required.
  • Oversee medium to large concurrent client projects and identify risks, escalations, and resolution needs.
  • Manage and resolve escalations between project, client, and internal organizations.
  • Oversee resource planning and coordinate project activities across client and internal or external resources.
  • Mentor staff in Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
  • Define responsibilities, accountabilities, and growth plans through work assignments, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Lead internal initiatives that support organizational and employee growth.
  • Ensure consultant bench time is used to build skills aligned to practice technology roadmaps.
  • Monitor alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives.
  • Gather feedback from Delivery Owners on engagements involving GDC team members.
  • Conduct interviews for prospective GDC candidates.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in client relationship management and setting client expectations.
  • Experience or background in Java.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively up to executive levels.
  • Experience aligning diverse teams across multiple locations to deliver against project commitments.
  • Strong collaboration skills with GDC leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of internal stakeholder management, people management, and software project delivery.
  • Ability to create sound work plans and resolve competing trade-offs.
  • Ability to manage up to 30 people and guide career development.
  • Ability to develop and nurture future leaders.
  • Ability to remain composed during challenging and critical situations.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile best practices and delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working with sales and solutioning stakeholders on staffing and timeline commitments is a plus.
  • Must not require work visa sponsorship.
  • Full-time employment.
  • Remote role based in the Philippines.
