Description

  • Own the strategy, roadmap, budget, and vendor landscape for internal IT.
  • Lead and develop the IT Support and IT Tooling & Automation teams.
  • Manage and rationalize business-critical SaaS applications, including CRM, finance, HR, collaboration, and engineering tools.
  • Design API-driven integrations, data synchronization, internal services, and event-driven workflows.
  • Build automated onboarding, offboarding, identity provisioning, and employee self-service capabilities.
  • Own the internal AI tool portfolio, including evaluation, procurement, administration, usage governance, cost control, and lifecycle management.
  • Deploy AI assistants, knowledge retrieval, automated ticket handling, and agentic workflows across internal operations.
  • Define AI usage guardrails with Security and Legal and measure adoption, cost, and productivity impact.
  • Oversee identity, device management, access audits, IT support, security, and compliance operations.
  • Manage vendor selection, licensing, renewals, consolidation, and cost-versus-value analysis.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in IT engineering, business systems engineering, or internal platform engineering at SaaS or technology companies.
  • 3+ years leading teams responsible for internal business systems and automation.
  • Hands-on engineering experience with Python or a comparable language, APIs, webhooks, OAuth flows, and integration frameworks.
  • Experience owning SaaS application landscapes such as Salesforce, HubSpot, finance systems, HR platforms, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, GitHub, or Notion.
  • Experience delivering AI tooling such as LLM assistants, knowledge retrieval, AI-supported service operations, or agentic workflow automation.
  • Deep experience with SSO, SAML, SCIM, identity lifecycle automation, MDM, and Zero Trust access models.
  • Experience supporting or passing ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR audits.
  • Experience managing SaaS vendors, budgets, licensing, negotiations, and tool consolidation.
  • Experience supporting remote-first, globally distributed teams and communicating effectively with technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
  • Preferred: experience with agentic platforms, MCP, Claude, Gemini Enterprise, OpenAI, Copilot, AI/cloud FinOps, internal IT SLOs, or post-M&A tool consolidation.
