Description

  • Lead pharmacists, nurses, and support staff, including recruiting, coaching, performance management, onboarding, and succession planning.
  • Oversee workforce planning, service levels, productivity, resource allocation, and daily clinical workloads.
  • Build client relationships and collaborate with TPAs, PBMs, vendors, and internal leadership on client plans and escalations.
  • Represent Pharmacy Services in client meetings, implementations, advocacy reviews, and clinical audits.
  • Provide clinical consultation and resolve complex clinical, operational, and member-related issues.
  • Establish and reinforce pharmacy workflows, protocols, quality standards, and program expectations.
  • Monitor performance metrics, member satisfaction, operational trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with specialty clinical teams to triage inquiries, answer clinical questions, and support effective member service.
  • Lead department communications, strategic planning, leadership meetings, and organizational initiatives.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
  • At least 5 years of pharmacy experience.
  • At least 3 years of pharmacy leadership, management, or supervisory experience.
  • Active, unrestricted, unencumbered professional license in good standing as a pharmacist, registered nurse, or other independently licensed healthcare professional authorized to conduct clinical assessments.
  • Ability to obtain required multistate or additional state licenses within 90 days of hire and maintain them throughout employment.
  • Expertise in managed care, specialty pharmacy, utilization management, PBM operations, performance coaching, analytics, reporting, and client relationship management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, presentation, organizational, workforce planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience managing pharmacy teams and mentoring or developing clinical professionals (preferred).
  • Ability to work permanently in the United States without employer sponsorship.
