Description

  • Build and operate web applications and the APIs that power them.
  • Design and develop full-stack features across the UI, API, and backend layers.
  • Collaborate with product, design, backend, and non-technical stakeholders to prototype and deliver customer features.
  • Work across engineering teams to maintain and improve shared AWS infrastructure.
  • Grow projects from initial design through beta and into production-scale use.
  • Provide technical leadership on architecture and system design for the team’s applications.
  • Guide team members in following good engineering practices.
  • Partner with product managers and external stakeholders to align technical strategy with business priorities.
  • Own services and features end to end, from user interaction through production deployment.
  • Use user feedback and analytics to improve product usability and experience.

Requirements

  • Experience building and scaling high-quality consumer-facing user interfaces.
  • Hands-on familiarity with React, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, Go, Python, REST, GraphQL, Terraform, AWS, and Docker.
  • Experience with tools such as Amplitude, Sigma, Auth0, Metaplane, DataDog, Claude Code, and Atlassian.
  • Knowledge of application security and HITRUST compliance.
  • Experience working with HIPAA-compliant APIs.
  • Familiarity with FHIR R4 standards and/or TEFCA standards.
  • Comfort working across the full stack, from frontend CSS issues to backend AWS infrastructure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing startup environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams, including AI-focused teams.
  • Interest in using AI to enhance products and support product development.
