Description

  • Audit the ZonePayroll Knowledge Base and prioritize content gaps using support data, analytics, and stakeholder input.
  • Interpret Jira engineering tickets to understand product changes and features.
  • Reorganize Knowledge Base architecture and standardize article formatting, headings, and metadata for usability and AI retrieval.
  • Update outdated articles and create new technical documentation using internal resources and subject-matter-expert input.
  • Validate content accuracy through in-app testing and review cycles with Support, Product, and Development teams.
  • Manage and publish Knowledge Base content in Zendesk or a similar Help Center platform.
  • Identify the 10 most common ZonePayroll customer activities and develop a task-based onboarding module for each.
  • Create how-to walkthroughs, pro tips, and applicable region-specific guidance.
  • Develop needs-based learning paths using adult learning and instructional-design principles.
  • Produce screenshots, short videos, and interactive learning content, while tracking documentation progress against milestones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, English, Instructional Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of technical writing experience creating and managing Help Center or Knowledge Base content.
  • 2+ years of experience developing on-demand learning or customer onboarding content using instructional-design principles.
  • Experience creating and editing multimedia learning materials, including screenshots, short videos, and interactive modules.
  • Working experience with Jira, including interpreting engineering tickets.
  • Based in Australia with the right to work in Australia.
  • Payroll domain and/or Oracle NetSuite experience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Zendesk, Snagit, and Genially (preferred).
  • Experience structuring content for AI agents or LLM-based search and retrieval (preferred).
