Description

  • Develop a strategic plan to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
  • Lead and manage sales development and a managed-service media sales team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders at senior and mid-management levels.
  • Understand agency, advertiser, data, and vendor landscapes and report market trends to the organization.
  • Communicate Zeta Global’s value proposition, technology, processes, and partnerships to support account growth.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and coordinate sales activities from prospecting through close.
  • Use external relationships and personal network to generate sales leads.
  • Participate in all phases of the sales lifecycle, including lead development, client meetings, value proposition development, financial structuring, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • Advise the pursuit team on deal crafting, positioning, and closing.
  • Oversee strategic accounts, monitor key metrics and performance trends, and deliver ongoing client reviews.
  • Conduct win/loss reviews for new accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 15+ years of proven experience in consultative sales selling digital media, data, and/or SaaS products.
  • 10+ years of sales management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the advertising agency industry.
  • Knowledge of the online media business and underlying technology and research.
  • Excellent sales skills with the ability to create and build relationships.
  • Demonstrated track record of success and established relationships.
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, diligent, and able to take initiative to get the job done.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Positive attitude.
