Description

  • Partner with Account Executives to run technical discovery sessions and understand prospect environments, Kubernetes challenges, cost goals, and business objectives.
  • Own and drive technical validation and proof-of-concept engagements for PerfectScale, including preparation, management, and outcome tracking.
  • Develop and deliver tailored product demonstrations that showcase PerfectScale capabilities and address prospect use cases and concerns.
  • Build business cases and ROI analyses that quantify cost savings and performance improvements from PerfectScale.
  • Serve as the company’s go-to technical expert for PerfectScale and support seamless implementation experiences for prospects.
  • Own the technical win for PerfectScale opportunities by guiding customers through technical evaluation and resolving requirements and objections.
  • Represent DoiT and PerfectScale at events and industry conferences through presentations and live demonstrations.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute business data and metrics into internal systems and tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role at a B2B SaaS company, with significant exposure to DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or FinOps buyers.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes across EKS, AKS, GKE, and OpenShift, along with DevOps best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions in cloud environments such as observability, optimization, FinOps, or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong data analysis skills with experience using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • Proven ability to build business cases and ROI justifications from product data.
  • Ability to explain complex Kubernetes concepts and product functionality clearly to both technical and business audiences.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level prospects and customers on cloud cost management and Kubernetes strategy.
  • Experience with modern technical selling practices, including trial, demo, and RFP processes in competitive sales environments.
  • Prior experience as a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or FinOps professional is a plus.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, scaling business, ideally in cloud and/or Kubernetes management.
