Description

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to run technical discovery and understand prospect environments, Kubernetes challenges, and business goals.
  • Lead technical validation and Proof of Concept engagements for PerfectScale from preparation through successful completion.
  • Develop and deliver tailored platform demonstrations that address customer use cases and concerns.
  • Build business cases and ROI analyses that quantify cost savings and performance improvements.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for PerfectScale and support seamless implementation experiences.
  • Own the technical win by guiding prospects through evaluation, addressing requirements, and building confidence in the solution.
  • Represent DoiT and PerfectScale at events and industry conferences through presentations and demonstrations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in internal systems and contribute to business reporting and metrics.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience selling to DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or FinOps teams, especially around Kubernetes or cloud cost management.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes across EKS, AKS, GKE, and OpenShift, plus DevOps best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS solutions in cloud environments such as observability, optimization, FinOps, or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong data analysis skills with experience using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
  • Proven ability to use product data to build compelling business cases and ROI justifications.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex Kubernetes concepts to both technical and business audiences.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level prospects and customers on cloud cost management and Kubernetes strategy.
  • Familiarity with modern technical selling practices, including trial, demo, and RFP processes.
  • Prior experience as a Kubernetes DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or FinOps professional is a plus.
  • Success in a fast-paced, scaling business, ideally in the cloud or Kubernetes management domain.
  • Remote role based in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, Sweden, or the Netherlands, with contractor eligibility in Eastern European countries.
