Description

  • Manage and coach a team of Pre-Sales Consultants supporting account executives in closing trials and winning new business.
  • Lead product demos, discovery calls, and tailored workshops for prospective clients in Financial Services.
  • Translate client challenges into compelling use cases that demonstrate the value of AlphaSense.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Support, Product, Content, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to close feedback loops and support growth.
  • Oversee onboarding, certification, enablement, call coaching, and ongoing development for team members.
  • Track, report, and communicate team performance metrics and insights to management.
  • Evaluate and implement resource coverage models to support team growth and service quality.
  • Recruit and retain top talent while maintaining a high standard of excellence.
  • Aggregate client feedback and improve internal processes, pilot programs, and renewal outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted, consultative partner to prospective clients and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in sales or client success.
  • At least 2 years of direct people management experience leading a team of at least 5 client-facing people.
  • Experience operationalising the customer journey and creating scalable processes.
  • Ability to distill and explain complex issues in simple terms.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working directly with users and clients to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain strong client relationships.
  • High attention to detail, strong time management, and task prioritisation under pressure.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a small, fast-growing company.
  • High motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn on the job; technical knowledge will be learned as part of the role.
