Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of production-grade ML and Generative AI solutions on AWS, with awareness of multicloud environments.
  • Act as a hands-on technical advisor for customers running AI/ML workloads from discovery through deployment and optimization.
  • Translate complex business problems into secure, reliable, cost-efficient, and observable cloud architectures.
  • Turn one-off customer work into reusable patterns, playbooks, templates, documentation, and internal tooling.
  • Provide structured cloud optimization, security, reliability, and architecture review engagements for customers.
  • Respond to expert inquiries and support requests requiring deep cloud engineering expertise.
  • Partner with account teams, customer engineers, architects, and FinOps teams to deliver technical outcomes and drive adoption.
  • Use DoiT Cloud Intelligence products hands-on to build analytics, insights, automations, and workload-intelligence workflows.
  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering on product gaps, automation opportunities, telemetry needs, and roadmap improvements.
  • Contribute to internal enablement through documentation, demos, office hours, training, and design reviews.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience architecting, deploying, and managing cloud-based AI/ML solutions, including production workloads.
  • Proven experience designing and operating large distributed systems on AWS.
  • Advanced proficiency with AWS services relevant to AI/ML and Generative AI.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock for deploying and scaling foundation models and GenAI workloads.
  • Experience fine-tuning and deploying LLMs and multimodal AI using Amazon SageMaker, including JumpStart.
  • Strong prompt engineering skills and familiarity with rigorous model evaluation for quality, safety, and performance.
  • Experience with distributed training and performance optimization for inference.
  • Strong data engineering skills on AWS, including Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Lake Formation, and Redshift.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, monitoring, governance, and security for AI/ML workloads, including tools such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS, and SageMaker Model Monitor.
  • Working knowledge of Google Cloud AI tools such as Vertex AI, Cloud AutoML, and BigQuery ML.
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and business audiences and the ability to influence decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first, global environment.
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Additional data or AI certifications from AWS, GCP, Stanford, Coursera, Udacity, MIT, or eCornell are preferred.
  • Experience with RLHF, advanced fine-tuning techniques, and hybrid AI architectures is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Hugging Face or similar open-source ecosystems integrated with AWS is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a ML Engineer, Data Scientist, or AI-focused Architect in a consulting or SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar tools and exposure to Agile practices is preferred.
