Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of DoiT’s business, cloud management platform, support, services, and customer needs.
  • Maintain ownership of assigned customer accounts and manage communication with vendor teams to surface growth opportunities.
  • Handle customer support escalations through resolution while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close long-term commitments with key stakeholders while balancing customer, vendor, and company interests.
  • Identify new workload opportunities within customers’ cloud environments and SaaS solutions.
  • Maintain regular contact with the full customer portfolio, balancing strategic accounts and fast-growing emerging clients.
  • Collect customer feedback and share it with product and engineering teams to inform priorities and development cycles.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews with customers, including project timelines, projected spend, and support feedback.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities within customers’ cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cloud vendor sales representatives on mutual customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in an Account Management, Customer Success, or Customer Engineering role.
  • 3+ years of experience at a technology company.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills to engage productively with technical teams and build influential relationships.
  • Strong operational and administrative skills with an analytical, detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to zoom between big-picture strategy and detailed execution.
  • Desire to grow within the organization and continuously broaden skill sets.
  • Sense of humor and enjoyment of working in a fun, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, or other major public clouds, preferred.
  • Experience in the FinOps ecosystem, preferred.
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader, preferred.
  • Additional language skills, preferred.
