Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of DoiT’s business, cloud management platform, support, and services, as well as customer needs.
  • Own customer context and communication with vendor teams to surface growth opportunities and demonstrate value.
  • Manage customer support escalations through resolution while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close long-term commitments with key stakeholders, balancing customer, vendor, and company interests.
  • Identify new workload opportunities within customers’ cloud environments and SaaS solutions.
  • Maintain a regular cadence with the full customer portfolio, including both strategic accounts and fast-growing emerging clients.
  • Aggregate customer feedback and share it with product and engineering teams to inform priorities and development cycles.
  • Deliver quarterly business reviews, including project timelines, cloud spending forecasts, and feedback on DoiT support and engagement.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key cloud providers to align on customer engagements.
  • Work with cloud vendor sales representatives on mutual customers and identify cost optimization opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of account management experience supporting the EMEA market.
  • 2+ years of experience at a technology company, such as a SaaS, systems integrator, or cloud vendor.
  • Experience supporting customers in the AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure ecosystem, or another cloud vendor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Ideally additional language skills, such as French.
  • Strong technical skills to work effectively with technical teams.
  • Ability to build influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong operational and administrative skills with an analytical, detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to balance the big picture with detailed execution.
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader are a plus.
