Description

  • Develop a deep understanding of DoiT’s cloud management platform, support, services, and customer needs.
  • Own customer relationships and maintain context, communication, and account ownership across the assigned portfolio.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with cloud vendor teams and communicate growth opportunities.
  • Manage customer support escalations through resolution while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close long-term commitments with key stakeholders while balancing customer, vendor, and company interests.
  • Identify new workload opportunities and cost optimization opportunities within customers’ cloud environments and SaaS solutions.
  • Maintain a regular cadence with customers across the full book of business, including strategic and fast-growing accounts.
  • Gather customer feedback and share it with product and engineering teams to help prioritize deliverables.
  • Deliver quarterly business reviews covering project timelines, projected cloud spending, and support and engagement feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key cloud providers and collaborate with vendor sales representatives on mutual customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of account management experience supporting the EMEA market.
  • 2+ years of experience working at a technology company, such as a SaaS company, systems integrator, or cloud vendor.
  • Experience supporting customers in the AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure ecosystem, or another cloud vendor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • Additional language skills, such as French, are ideally preferred.
  • Strong technical skills to engage productively with technical teams and build influential relationships.
  • Excellent operational and administrative skills with strong analytical and detail-oriented capabilities.
  • Ability to zoom between the big picture and detailed account-level work.
  • A desire to grow within the organization and continuously broaden skill sets.
  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Cloud Digital Leader are a bonus.
