Description

  • Work with clients to understand requirements and technical challenges.
  • Develop cloud-based solutions and communicate their value to client teams.
  • Create effort estimates and delivery timelines for Zencore projects.
  • Translate estimates into clear proposals or statements of work.
  • Act as the lead technical member of project teams and provide delivery oversight.
  • Keep technical delivery on track and remove blockers when work is stalled.
  • Perform both architecture and hands-on execution work as needed.
  • Mentor engineers and help up-skill the organization.
  • Provide technical leadership across a broad range of cloud engineering topics.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers throughout their Google Cloud journey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures based on modern SRE principles and best practices.
  • Hands-on production experience with a major public cloud platform, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Comfortable working with common DevSecOps practices and tooling.
  • Deep expertise in one or more areas such as software architecture, tooling/pipelines/DevSecOps, Kubernetes, databases, and/or networking.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and cloud/software development solutions.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex engagements.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Comfortable being on video in internal and client meetings.
