Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for urgent morning-of requests and educator absence backfills.
  • Find coverage for same-day absences and manage placements from initial notification through confirmation.
  • Build trusted relationships with school partners to uncover new opportunities and secure additional fillable days and absences.
  • Engage and support educators to drive retention, gather feedback, and guide them into first long-term or daily subbing roles.
  • Collaborate with internal Zen teams to share insights, streamline communication, and improve service delivery.
  • Lead weekly or bi-weekly territory syncs using data reporting and on-the-ground insights to guide strategy.
  • Balance educator supply and school demand to maintain high fill rates and strong partner support.
  • Provide daily handoff updates to Account Managers on follow-up items and completed work.
  • Support school partners by assisting with paraprofessional and teacher role growth and upselling Zen products and services.
  • Report school trends and feedback to the Product team to help drive improvements.

Requirements

  • Remote location in Ontario, Canada.
  • Salary of $51,000-$58,000 a year with $58,000 OTE.
  • Experience in sales, partnerships, account management, recruitment, or education is a plus.
  • A coachable, feedback-oriented mindset with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn daily.
  • A resilient self-starter who is resourceful and comfortable thinking entrepreneurially.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and empathy for the needs of schools and educators.
  • A positive, collaborative team approach and willingness to support teammates.
  • Passion for the education sector and mission-driven, high-impact work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with urgency and strategic thinking.
  • Willingness to use data and territory insights to identify opportunities and drive operational change.
