Description

  • Own the architecture and technical direction of Yuno’s AI agents, including AIDA and NOVA.
  • Design and build reliable, low-latency multi-step LLM agents with tool use, orchestration, memory, and RAG.
  • Develop conversational, multilingual agents across channels such as phone and WhatsApp.
  • Define evaluation, observability, safety, and guardrail practices for production AI systems.
  • Architect client-intelligence products that turn payment data into actionable merchant insights.
  • Build AI-driven automation for internal operations and customer support.
  • Mentor engineers and collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Staff Engineers on complex cross-team initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience and a track record of shipping production LLM or AI-agent systems.
  • Deep expertise in multi-step agents, tool use, orchestration, memory, and retrieval-augmented generation.
  • Strong skills in prompt engineering, evaluation, and guardrails for reliable and safe LLM outputs.
  • Advanced Python for AI/ML and solid backend engineering experience with Go and/or Kotlin.
  • Experience with model serving, LLM inference, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with AI evaluation and observability tools such as LangFuse, LangSmith, Braintrust, or MLflow, plus automated testing and CI/CD.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, including mentoring, setting technical vision, and delivering complex cross-team projects.
  • Advanced written and spoken English.
  • Preferred: fine-tuning, RLHF, vector databases, MCP or modern agent frameworks, conversational or multilingual AI, and payments/fintech experience.
  • Nice to have: multi-tenant AI platforms, GPU resource management, data orchestration and warehouses, or Spanish proficiency.
