Description

Partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention.
Join onsite customer visits when appropriate to support sales conversations and relationship building.
Discover, organize, and execute major customer projects from the front lines of aerospace and defense manufacturing.
Proactively identify and address potential manufacturing challenges, including DFM issues.
Stay aligned on upcoming customer projects and initiatives to ensure fit with Xometry’s capabilities.
Gather customer insights and feedback to inform sales strategies.
Assist Pre-Sales Engineering by gathering and synthesizing information needed to prepare accurate and competitive quotes.
Combine customer, partner, and internal system knowledge to respond quickly to customer needs and move projects toward delivery.
Provide project management and oversight for complex opportunities.

Requirements

10+ years of relevant experience in aerospace and defense engineering and manufacturing roles.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Experience using Xometry’s services from a customer perspective; partner perspective is a bonus.
Deep familiarity with the methods, materials, culture, and products of aerospace and defense organizations such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Blue Origin, Anduril, General Dynamics, Moog, and SpaceX.
Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including drawings and GD&T.
Particularly strong experience in CNC machining; experience with composites, plastics, harnesses, and sheet metal fabrication is a plus.
Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100d, ITAR, NIST, and other common compliance and certification requirements.
Excellent English communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, including in remote/digital environments.
Ability to travel to customer and/or partner sites as needed, typically 25%-35%.
Mountain or Pacific time zone preferred.
Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
