Description

  • Define and own the platform vision, strategy, and long-term product roadmap.
  • Translate developer needs and business objectives into platform capabilities and product initiatives.
  • Prioritize the product backlog and drive roadmap execution based on business value and technical impact.
  • Lead product discovery, define MVPs, and validate new platform capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and architects on platform evolution and technical direction.
  • Participate in architectural discussions covering scalability, resilience, security, observability, and multi-tenancy.
  • Design intuitive developer experiences and simplify deployment and operational workflows.
  • Gather feedback from platform users and engineering teams to continuously improve the platform.
  • Align technical and business stakeholders around product strategy and delivery outcomes.
  • Drive platform standards, challenge technical assumptions, and contribute to solution design discussions.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a Technical Product Owner, Tech Lead, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Solutions Architect, Founding Engineer, or similar engineering leadership role.
  • Proven experience owning developer-focused platform products or Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern platform engineering principles.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, containers, cloud networking, and infrastructure automation.
  • Solid understanding of platform architecture, including multi-tenancy, Control Plane vs Data Plane, deployment workflows, service orchestration, and platform scalability.
  • Experience defining product strategy, owning roadmaps, prioritizing initiatives, and leading product discovery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to bridge engineering and business perspectives.
  • Experience making product decisions based on metrics and measurable outcomes.
  • Comfortable working closely with engineers, challenging technical decisions, and driving engineering best practices.
  • Practical experience using AI-powered assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot Chat to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making.
  • Work from the European Union region and a valid work permit are required.
  • Experience with Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or GitOps practices (nice to have).
  • Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry (nice to have).
  • Development experience with TypeScript, Node.js, or NestJS (nice to have).
  • Experience with usage-based pricing, metering, or billing systems (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with Edge Computing, CDN platforms, or high-performance networking solutions (nice to have).
  • Experience applying GenAI in a structured way within the SDLC, including workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations (nice to have).
  • Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices, with willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches (nice to have).
