Description

  • Design, build, and deploy secure, fault-tolerant backend services at scale.
  • Own services from initial design through production operations.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers while contributing to team delivery and system quality.
  • Work within one of Xapo’s product domains, including Wealth Management, Financial Crime Prevention, Customer Acquisition and Retention, or Member Money Movement.
  • Support banking and crypto-related workflows in a secure environment.
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD and automated testing.
  • Apply architectural approaches such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design.
  • Work with cloud-native and container-based systems in a distributed team environment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, with Python preferred.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering.
  • Basic understanding of microservices, cloud-native patterns, and container-based applications.
  • Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle.
  • Interest in CI/CD and automated testing.
  • Interest in event-driven architecture and domain-driven design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Growth mindset with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Experience or familiarity with AWS, Docker, Python frameworks such as Django or Flask, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, PostgreSQL, or Node.js is preferred.
