Description

Design, build, and operate production-grade realtime and batch data pipelines.
Ingest, process, validate, and deliver data that powers user-behavior insights and product decisions.
Create shared datasets, fact tables, and internal data products for analysis and debugging.
Build tooling that automates internal data workflows such as backfills, dashboards, report generation, and self-serve access.
Own data correctness end to end, including validation, reconciliation, recomputation, and root-cause investigations.
Work across query engines, streaming systems, and batch frameworks to choose the right tools for each problem.
Partner with product and business teams to identify data gaps and prioritize new data acquisition opportunities.
Iterate quickly on feedback and ship small, reliable increments.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Product Engineering, Algorithm, Legal, Finance, Sales, product, growth, safety, and business teams.

Requirements

3+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in data engineering or distributed systems.
Hands-on expertise in Python, Rust, Scala, Go, or Java.
Experience with data pipeline tooling and distributed systems.
Knowledge of realtime and batch processing tools such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, or SQL.
Experience with storage systems including RDBMSs and NoSQL databases.
Experience solving large-scale problems and building new systems incrementally.
Ability to translate product requirements into engineering implementation plans.
Strong communication skills and experience working effectively across AI, product, marketing/sales, and engineering teams.
