Description

  • Develop training content, technical assistance modules, and field resources, including Thinkific courses.
  • Oversee and facilitate cultural orientation programming for new arrivals and ensure compliant local implementation and documentation.
  • Track cultural orientation completion nationally and locally.
  • Train new field caseworkers and follow up to support effective implementation.
  • Standardize peer-to-peer shadowing and coordinate cross-office learning opportunities and Communities of Practice meetings.
  • Maintain and promote training resources for field staff.
  • Track training attendance, feedback, knowledge acquisition, evaluations, and network-wide training outcomes.
  • Provide consultation to field caseworkers on initial resettlement questions and needs.
  • Plan and facilitate network training meetings and resettlement conferences.
  • Support field-office monitoring and other training or service-line priorities; travel up to 15% as required.

Requirements

  • Mature personal Christian faith and commitment to World Relief’s mission, vision, values, core beliefs, and statement of faith.
  • At least 3 years of refugee resettlement experience (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in social work or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience working in grant-compliance contexts.
  • Excellent writing, editing, communication, organizational, and research skills.
  • Ability to perform data analysis, multitask, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and attentive listener.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with IRIS, Dynamics, SharePoint, and Asana (preferred).
  • Overseas or cross-cultural experience and experience with Preferred Communities, PC Gaps/IAR, or Initial Resettlement programs (preferred); domestic travel up to 20%.
