Description

  • Manage inbound phone calls, including answering and routing calls through the business line.
  • Handle and organize email communications.
  • Manage provider calendars, appointments, and scheduling coordination.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-ups.
  • Assist with insurance verifications and eligibility checks.
  • Process prior authorizations as needed.
  • Support patient care coordination and administrative workflows.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records.
  • Perform additional delegated administrative tasks.
  • Provide basic social media support and content creation when needed.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or medical administrative role.
  • Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
  • Experience working in a mental health or psychiatric practice is a plus.
  • Proficiency with behavioral health platforms such as Grow Therapy, Headway, and Tebra is a plus.
  • Experience providing basic social media support or content creation is a plus.
  • Must be tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and processes.
  • Must be highly organized, proactive, dependable, and able to multitask effectively.
  • Must speak and write English very clearly.
  • Must be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding.
  • Must be available for video meetings with camera on when needed.
  • Must have a reliable laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet with at least 10 Mbps, a noise-canceling headset, a webcam, and a quiet professional workspace.
