Description

  • Answer and manage inbound patient calls professionally.
  • Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments.
  • Conduct patient intakes and enter patient information accurately.
  • Handle prior authorizations and other insurance-related administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and apply superbills to patient accounts.
  • Manage email and inbox communications efficiently.
  • Support general administrative and front desk functions.
  • Coordinate referrals and maintain communication with external providers.
  • Conduct outreach calls to arrange informational lunch meetings and share service information.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, patient scheduling, or provider outreach.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems; Athena Health is preferred, but multi-EHR experience is acceptable.
  • Experience using phone systems; RingCentral is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of medical billing or superbills is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Must have relevant work experience.
  • Must be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding.
  • Must be available for video meetings with camera on when needed.
  • Must have a reliable laptop or desktop computer.
  • Must have a high-speed internet connection of at least 10 Mbps.
  • Must have a noise-canceling headset and webcam for virtual meetings.
  • Must work in a quiet, professional workspace.
