Description

  • Schedule appointments and communicate with patients across phone, email, and messaging platforms.
  • Verify insurance and assist with claims processing.
  • Coordinate referrals and manage patient records.
  • Serve as a provider and patient care coordinator.
  • Handle incoming faxes and manage email and text correspondence, including sorting, responding, and prioritizing.
  • Provide billing-related administrative support.
  • Support coordination with healthcare providers and partner organizations.
  • Assist with remote patient monitoring activities.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and deliver strong front-desk support.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • At least 1 year of experience in medical front office, medical administrative, or care coordination roles.
  • Strong healthcare administrative background.
  • Familiarity with Elation or similar EMR systems is a plus.
  • Strong customer service and patient engagement skills focused on scheduling, coordination, and patient support.
  • Professional and polished phone presence.
  • Patient, compassionate, polite, and highly detail-oriented demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding.
  • Must be available for video meetings with camera on when needed.
  • Reliable laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet of at least 25 Mbps, noise-canceling headset, webcam, and a quiet professional workspace.
