Description

  • Monitor and triage shared client emails, calls, and service requests.
  • Respond to routine client inquiries and collect documentation for policy-service requests.
  • Follow up with clients, carriers, and underwriters on missing information and pending requests.
  • Process certificates of insurance, endorsements, policy changes, renewals, and related documentation within licensing boundaries.
  • Add and maintain policy and client records, invoices, notes, activities, statuses, and documents in EZLynx.
  • Prepare and send requests to underwriters, carriers, and internal processing teams.
  • Identify stalled requests and missing documentation, escalating complex coverage or license-required matters.
  • Provide daily reports on completed work, pending requests, missing information, and escalations.
  • Provide administrative coverage for brokers who are traveling or unavailable.
  • Support additional administrative and policy-servicing tasks assigned by agency leadership.

Requirements

  • Prior experience supporting an insurance agency.
  • Approximately 5+ years of relevant insurance-support experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of policy servicing, certificates of insurance, endorsements, renewals, and carrier follow-up.
  • Strong hands-on experience with EZLynx preferred, including policy entry, invoicing, and record maintenance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or comparable spreadsheet software.
  • Experience using email- and phone-based customer service platforms.
  • Ability to independently communicate with clients, carriers, underwriters, and processing teams.
  • Ability to determine when to complete tasks independently and when to escalate matters requiring broker or licensed support.
  • Experience handling confidential client, policy, and financial information.
  • USB noise-cancelling headset, webcam, computer with at least a 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM, and reliable primary and backup internet connections.
  • Availability Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, with interest in potentially expanding to full-time.
