Description

  • Lead IT projects from scoping through deployment and documentation, including new-site setups, secure printing, and conference room buildouts.
  • Deploy and maintain Teams Rooms, displays, speakerphones, cabling, digital signage, and phone systems.
  • Create and automate onboarding and offboarding playbooks, and develop internal scripts, tools, dashboards, and documentation.
  • Support printers, peripherals, and AV equipment through hardware setup, driver and firmware management, and vendor coordination.
  • Administer and troubleshoot switches, wireless access points, firewalls, VPNs, and paging systems; perform root-cause analysis for escalated issues.
  • Support disaster recovery and backup restore testing and document resolutions in the knowledge base.
  • Administer SaaS applications, including access reviews, license optimization, and SSO configuration.
  • Manage Entra ID and Microsoft 365 policies, user and group accounts, conditional access, and basic Windows Server administration.
  • Follow HIPAA and security practices through asset inventory, access reviews, and audit support.
  • Evaluate technology and hardware options to inform purchasing recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 1+ years of IT, engineering, or technical experience; internships and substantial project work count.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting/CIDR, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and network diagrams.
  • Familiarity with Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, hypervisors, virtual machines, RDP, and SSH.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Scripting or software development experience with tools such as PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Graph, or Power Automate.
  • Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on experience with printers, AV equipment, and peripherals.
  • Clear written and verbal communication and ability to explain technical topics to nontechnical teammates.
  • Experience building servers, computers, or home labs, and experience in healthcare or a HIPAA-regulated environment (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base salary of $81,000–$95,000 in San Francisco, New York City, or Seattle, and $76,000–$90,000 elsewhere.
  • Target annual bonus of 10% of base salary.
