Description

  • Plan and execute founder-led dinners, roundtables, conference activations, and other in-person events that generate pipeline.
  • Design creative, high-touch event experiences that attract target buyers and make the brand stand out in competitive conference environments.
  • Run 6–10 small, high-signal events in the first 2–4 months to prove the motion and demonstrate pipeline impact.
  • Work closely with founders and executives to develop thought leadership content and event programming.
  • Identify and engage the right attendees for events, including pulling target prospects from large conferences into smaller, more exclusive gatherings.
  • Build relationships with venues, vendors, restaurants, and conference organizers in major tech hubs.
  • Turn in-person conversations into follow-up online engagement and active sales opportunities.
  • Use research and operations support to target the right accounts, prep content, and execute events efficiently.
  • Own event outcomes end to end, from planning and logistics through attendance, engagement, and pipeline generation.
  • As the motion proves out, help hire, manage, and scale a larger field marketing and events team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in field marketing, events, or in-person enterprise sales.
  • Experience generating pipeline and revenue from events, not just attendance metrics.
  • Creative event instincts and the ability to design exclusive, compelling experiences.
  • Strong relationships with venues, vendors, restaurants, and conference organizers in major tech hubs such as SF, NYC, Vegas, Austin, and Florida.
  • Comfort working directly with founders and executives to create thought leadership content.
  • Ability to operate independently and handle booking, invitations, hosting, and follow-up without heavy team support.
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% and work nights when events require it.
  • Self-directed, resourceful, and able to make things happen without waiting for perfect conditions.
  • Player-coach mindset with interest in building and leading a team once the motion is proven.
  • Preferred: experience selling SaaS or AI to technical and non-technical buyers, especially in small enterprise contexts.
  • Preferred: existing network in the AI or enterprise SaaS ecosystem.
  • Preferred: experience launching a field motion from zero at an earlier-stage company.
  • Preferred: background in hospitality, concierge services, or high-end events.
