Description

  • Architect, develop, and deploy autonomous AI agents for cybersecurity applications.
  • Define agent systems that can make real-time decisions and adapt to threats.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and analysts to turn concepts into working solutions.
  • Mentor engineering teams on best practices for building agent-based AI systems.
  • Continuously evaluate, test, and improve the performance of agentic systems.
  • Drive technical excellence and engineering best practices within the AI team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, with at least 5 years of related experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong Python proficiency, including experience with frameworks and libraries such as FastAPI, asyncio, and PyTorch.
  • Deep understanding of agent frameworks and tools such as OpenAI Agents SDK, AutoGen, Google ADK/A2A, and LangGraph.
  • Proven experience building and deploying robust AI/ML solutions, with specific expertise in autonomous agents.
  • Direct experience integrating generative AI models such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and LLaMA into agentic systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable, distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
  • Extensive experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs.
  • Ability to design and implement agentic frameworks and architectures.
  • Knowledge of grounding generative models with external knowledge sources such as retrieval-augmented generation and knowledge graphs.
  • Familiarity with MLOps principles and tools for model deployment and monitoring.
  • Understanding of the security implications and mitigation strategies for generative AI and agentic systems.
  • Excellent collaboration, mentorship, and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • U.S. citizenship and residency in the contiguous United States are required.
  • Eligibility to obtain a clearance is required.
  • Approximately 10% travel is required, including travel to the Alexandria, VA office at least twice per year for remote employees.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms is preferred.
  • Experience deploying AI models at scale in high-throughput, low-latency environments is preferred.
