Description

  • Translate and copy edit content in investigator-facing, patient-facing, pharmacy, marketing, help, and UI subject areas.
  • Collaborate as part of a freelance language expert team across multiple accounts and programs.
  • Deliver localization and adaptation work for client content in the target language.
  • Review and apply quality assurance standards to translated content.
  • Use CAT tools and related workflow systems to complete assignments.
  • Work with multilingual content transformation tasks as needed across assigned programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience translating or copy editing content in the specified subject areas or verticals.
  • Professional-level understanding of English (US/GB).
  • Native-level expertise in Zulu with a strong understanding of cultural nuances.
  • Experience using CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, and Smartling.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Translation degree preferred, or 3 years of translation experience if holding another degree, or 5 years of translation experience without a degree.
  • Ability to work remotely with a freelance arrangement.
  • Experience with marketing, help, or UI content is relevant.
  • Experience in life sciences content is required or strongly preferred.
