Description

  • Plan and manage a portfolio of collection, labeling, and evaluation projects end to end, including priorities, milestones, and cross-time-zone handoffs.
  • Run governance cadences such as status updates, risk reviews, and executive reporting while aligning scope and budget with account and operations leads.
  • Forecast, secure, and balance rater and annotator capacity across vendors and internal teams.
  • Partner with the Sr. Quality Analyst on acceptance criteria, audits, corrective actions, and cross-project guideline consistency.
  • Identify manual workflows and pilot process automation with Ops Tech using templates, scripts, RPA, and API-driven flows.
  • Manage vendors by setting expectations, SLAs, and playbooks, then reviewing performance and driving improvements.
  • Track budgets, burn, margins, and change orders to protect financial outcomes.
  • Lead root-cause analysis, escalation, and action planning for risks, issues, and changes.
  • Lead client and stakeholder planning meetings and QBR-style reviews, presenting results, risks, and next steps clearly.
  • Coach PMs and coordinators, support onboarding and skills growth, and contribute to team enablement and retention efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, operations, data/engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience leading multi-project portfolios or large multi-workstream programs in AI data, content review, labeling/annotation, or related fields.
  • Experience in capacity planning, vendor coordination, and quality systems.
  • Experience piloting or scaling process automation is a plus.
  • Strong portfolio planning and governance skills across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Clear communication skills for senior clients and internal leaders, including planning and QBR-style reviews.
  • Strong proficiency with spreadsheets, PM/task boards, and basic BI tools; familiarity with SQL and ETL concepts is a plus.
  • Sound judgment on scope, time, cost, and quality trade-offs.
  • Negotiation and escalation skills for resolving risks, issues, and change.
  • Comfort working with global, distributed teams and intermediate to advanced English.
  • Near-native English with strong writing and editorial skills is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI tools such as text, voice, or video is preferred.
  • Background in QA testing, rubric design, or AI safety/ethics evaluation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data-annotation platforms and model-evaluation tools is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret code, datasets, and system workflows at a conceptual level, with no coding required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workflows effectively in a remote environment.
  • Multilingual ability beyond English is preferred.
