Description

  • Establish and execute country-level programs aligned with Twilio’s telecom compliance strategy.
  • Manage the weekly compliance operating rhythm for assigned countries and escalate critical issues to senior management.
  • Identify compliance risks and partner cross-functionally to implement mitigation strategies.
  • Own regional governance by maintaining internal policies and procedures that support adherence to international telecommunications standards.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to advance compliance initiatives and identify monetization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal functions to develop training materials and educate employees on evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on strategy execution and performance.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in strategy and operations, program management, telecom policy, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to program manage complex cross-functional projects and lead operational meetings with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive strategy and report to executive leadership.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leaders.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, individually and in group settings, with an understanding of key financial drivers of the business.
  • Preferred experience in the telecommunications industry, including knowledge of global regulations such as STIR/SHAKEN, KYC, or regional equivalents.
  • Preferred proficiency with SQL, Looker, and Airtable.
  • Preferred experience working in a global, high-growth technology environment.
  • Preferred familiarity with product development lifecycles and integrating compliance into technical roadmaps.
