Description

  • Design and develop machine learning models and algorithms for localization and business workflow processes, including machine translation, LLM fine-tuning, and quality assurance.
  • Own key projects from definition through deployment, maintaining technical direction and delivery momentum.
  • Evaluate and select machine learning techniques and algorithms to solve specific problems.
  • Implement and optimize machine learning models using Python, TensorFlow, and related tools and frameworks.
  • Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning based on test results.
  • Deploy models using containerization, Docker, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Use AWS services such as SageMaker, EC2, and S3 to deploy and monitor production environments.
  • Document experimentation, design decisions, and deployment work clearly and thoroughly.
  • Stay current with developments in machine learning and apply continuous learning to the role.
  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders, with integration into larger systems guided by senior engineers.

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Ability to write robust, production-grade code in Python.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience taking ownership of projects from conception to deployment, and mentoring more junior team members.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS technologies including EC2, S3, SageMaker, and other deployment strategies.
  • Experience with ML management technologies and deployment techniques such as Docker and GPU deployments.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Greece or Romania.
