Description

  • Work on large-scale solutions for mining challenging driving scenarios to improve autonomous driving model performance.
  • Collaborate with ML infrastructure teams on continuous learning workflows spanning iterative mining, error analysis, training, and deployment.
  • Research and develop methods to extract uncertainty and informativeness indicators for automated scene mining and performance analysis.
  • Provide statistical analysis and insights on model uncertainty, generalization, and robustness.
  • Conduct deep learning experiments and write technical reports.
  • Guide junior researchers on research projects and design document reviews.
  • Support system and software design efforts related to large-scale autonomous driving and robotics applications.
  • Contribute to project management and agile execution for research and development work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related technical field.
  • 5 years of post-bachelor’s industry experience.
  • Industry experience with Python and production-quality software development.
  • Experience with software engineering practices including configuration management, source control, build processes, code reviews, testing methodologies, app containerization, and continuous integration.
  • Experience with core AWS services such as S3, RDS, Athena, Redshift, or EKS.
  • Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or SQLite.
  • Experience writing SQL queries for data analysis.
  • Experience with data modeling and dashboarding tools such as Looker or Redash.
  • Experience architecting and shipping high-performance, large-scale distributed systems in real-world robotics applications.
  • Experience conducting system and software design, project management, and agile methodologies.

  • Base salary range of $168,000 to $244,000 USD.
