Description

  • Lead the design and architecture of complex, multi-stack systems and create reusable abstractions across the engineering organization.
  • Identify and execute architectural changes to reduce technical debt and improve long-term maintainability.
  • Anticipate edge cases and structural failures during design to improve system availability and resilience.
  • Partner with product teams to align technical implementation with product vision and business needs.
  • Provide deep feedback on design documents and pull requests to raise the quality bar.
  • Mentor Senior and Lead engineers and help establish durable best practices.
  • Promote a sustainable, high-performance environment that supports work-life balance and mental health.
  • Support a collaborative culture by sharing knowledge through RFCs, tech talks, and documentation.

Requirements

  • BSc. or MSc. degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with backend programming languages, specifically JVM-based languages such as Java or Kotlin.
  • Proven experience architecting and deploying solutions on AWS.
  • Deep expertise in Java/Kotlin, ReactJS, and TypeScript.
  • Experience working with vanilla JavaScript or Node.js BFFs when appropriate.
  • Extensive experience with microservices and micro-frontend architectures at scale.
  • Strong foundation in data structures, asynchronous programming, and complexity analysis.
  • Professional fluency in English for global collaboration.
  • Strong asynchronous communication skills with the ability to explain technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in both backend and frontend development is mandatory.
