Description

  • Lead frontend development in the BASE Focus Area and influence architecture and design decisions across teams.
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable solutions for complex product scenarios.
  • Partner with product managers and designers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Serve as a communication focal point with other teams and areas of the company.
  • Act as a technical reference for the team and broader organization.
  • Mentor and guide engineers while fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration.
  • Own critical product flows and deliver them end to end from early product definition through implementation.
  • Contribute to performance, reliability, and overall product excellence across BASE services.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in React and React Native; prior experience in both is mandatory.
  • Experience with related frontend technologies and modern application development.
  • Experience with distributed systems and modern system designs, including cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, BFFs, and Micro Frontends.
  • Experience designing and developing complex modern mobile and web applications.
  • Experience with RESTful and GraphQL services and collaborating with backend teams on mockups, payloads, and HTTP best practices.
  • Ability to architect large-scale, multi-tier web applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and working effectively in collaborative environments.
  • Experience with web and mobile applications across multiple layers of the stack is preferred.
