Description

  • Define and execute the overall marketing strategy for field crop products in alignment with business goals and revenue targets.
  • Lead product positioning, branding, and messaging to differentiate offerings in competitive markets.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market plans, including product launches, campaigns, and seasonal promotions.
  • Drive demand generation through on-ground activations, farmer outreach programs, and channel engagement.
  • Use market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and refine marketing strategy.
  • Collaborate with sales, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of marketing plans.
  • Build and manage partnerships with distributors, agri-institutions, and other stakeholders to expand market reach.
  • Monitor marketing performance against KPIs and optimize budgets and resources.
  • Lead digital and offline marketing initiatives to improve customer engagement.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in agriculture, agri-inputs, seeds, crop protection, or allied sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale marketing strategies and delivering measurable business growth.
  • Strong understanding of field crops, farmer behavior, and rural market dynamics in India.
  • Expertise in brand management, product marketing, and demand generation strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills to translate insights into action.
  • Experience managing both traditional and digital marketing channels effectively.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term execution.
  • Location in India and full-time availability.
  • Salary range: Rs 35,00,000 to Rs 50,00,000 per annum (INR 35-50 LPA).
