Description

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable backend services and platform infrastructure.
  • Own critical platform components including document ingestion pipelines, search and retrieval systems, APIs, and data models.
  • Develop and maintain AI-powered features such as RAG pipelines, LLM-driven analysis, entity extraction, summarization, and intelligent retrieval systems.
  • Integrate and evaluate modern AI technologies, vector databases, embedding pipelines, and orchestration frameworks.
  • Improve AI output quality, retrieval relevance, and system reliability in high-stakes regulatory environments.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, system scalability, and engineering best practices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and maintain high code quality through reviews and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and domain teams to refine technical requirements and solution approaches.
  • Mentor and support engineers through technical leadership, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in hiring, technical evaluations, and engineering process improvements.
  • Support cloud-native deployments, CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, and infrastructure automation.

Requirements

  • 7–11 years of software engineering experience with strong exposure to SaaS platform development.
  • Strong expertise in Python for backend systems, AI integrations, and data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications, RAG architectures, and AI-driven retrieval systems.
  • Experience working with vector databases, embedding workflows, and modern LLM APIs.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, along with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience designing scalable REST or GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with React or modern frontend technologies is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in complex, evolving environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in healthcare, regulatory, or other highly regulated environments is highly valuable.
