Description

  • Build and optimize cross-sell recommendation engines using market basket analysis, affinity modeling, and peer-based recommendation techniques.
  • Develop predictive models for reorder forecasting, churn and retention, customer lifetime value, lapsed product detection, white-space opportunity identification, and share-of-wallet estimation.
  • Create customer segmentation frameworks to improve sales targeting and account prioritization.
  • Conduct sales performance analysis, pricing optimization studies, and customer coverage assessments.
  • Generate account-level insights and data-driven recommendations for sales teams and executive decision-making.
  • Clean, standardize, and transform large ERP-sourced datasets, including customer master data, product hierarchies, invoice transactions, and branch structures.
  • Resolve data quality issues such as duplicate records, inconsistent hierarchies, and incomplete data.
  • Translate analytical outputs into dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or custom reporting solutions.
  • Present findings, model outcomes, and recommendations to business leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support executive-level discussions with clear, business-focused analytical insights.

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, or Machine Learning roles.
  • Strong experience working with B2B commercial datasets involving customers, products, transactions, and sales data.
  • Proven experience developing recommendation systems, market basket analysis models, and propensity or predictive analytics models.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Experience handling large-scale transactional datasets with millions of records and extensive product catalogs.
  • Hands-on experience working with ERP-generated data and complex commercial data structures.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as Prophet 21, Eclipse, Kinetic, or similar enterprise systems is preferred.
  • Background in distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, industrial products, retail analytics, or B2B commerce is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data quality challenges including duplicate records, inconsistent hierarchies, and fragmented transactional data is preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range of Rs 25,00,000 to Rs 50,00,000 per year (INR 25–50 LPA).
  • 100% remote work from India.
  • Full-time contractor employment type.
  • Fixed working hours aligned to US Central Time: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM CST (approximately 5:30 PM–2:30 AM IST).
