Description

  • Partner with the marketing team to identify, test, and evaluate data-driven ideas that improve efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain marketing models, including a Bayesian Marketing Mix Model and a Multi-Touch Attribution model.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing uplift tests using statistical rigor and translate findings into recommendations.
  • Build testable models and algorithms to solve complex problems with measurable business impact.
  • Generate insights from large-scale data to support marketing and business decisions.
  • Collaborate across product, marketing, business strategy, and other functions as needed.
  • Present data findings and technical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • BSc or MA in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in a quantitative data analysis role involving user behavior and large data sets.
  • Strong expertise in statistics, including hypothesis testing and experiment design.
  • Experience analyzing A/B tests and more advanced methods such as difference-in-difference, regression discontinuity, or approaches for network effects or panel data.
  • Experience building predictive models and causal inference models.
  • Experience analyzing large and complex data sets to drive business insights and decisions.
  • Advanced experience with SQL.
  • Proficiency with R and Python for data analysis.
  • Proven ability to support or make business decisions based on data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred: experience with Bayesian modeling methods.
  • Preferred: experience with Marketing Mix Models and Multi-Touch Attribution models.
  • Preferred: experience analyzing two-sided marketplaces or B2C marketplace products.
  • Preferred: experience with BI tools such as Tableau and Looker.
