Description

  • Lead technical modeling and analysis projects from conception through production delivery, ensuring technical quality and alignment with business goals.
  • Define and spread best practices for feature engineering, feature architecture, and data structuring across the team.
  • Analyze data to generate strategic insights, identify growth opportunities and emerging risks, and translate findings into concrete decisions.
  • Develop, implement, and validate machine learning models and tools such as scoring, propensity, churn, and segmentation models.
  • Serve as a technical reference for the team on methodological and approach decisions for machine learning projects.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data sources, including transactional and alternative data, to build predictive variables.
  • Support high-scale and high-complexity predictive modeling initiatives across classification, regression, ranking, and optimization problems.
  • Communicate complex results clearly to influence decision-making with business and technology stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Python and its data science libraries, SQL, and PySpark.
  • Strong foundation in statistics and machine learning, with the ability to choose, defend, and document the best approach for each business problem.
  • Hands-on experience developing predictive variables from structured and unstructured sources, including transactional and alternative data.
  • Experience with predictive modeling projects in high-scale, high-complexity environments.
  • Experience with classification, regression, ranking, or optimization modeling problems.
  • Solid experience using Databricks.
  • Excellent communication skills to discuss complex results and influence stakeholders from business and technology.
  • Preferred: experience in leadership or technical reference roles for data science teams.
