Description

  • Manage day-to-day general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation activities.
  • Support month-end and year-end close through journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Record sales, cost of goods sold, inventory, and operating expenses in accordance with GAAP.
  • Reconcile inventory across third-party manufacturers, co-packers, and 3PL warehouses; investigate variances and ensure appropriate cost capitalization.
  • Prepare and analyze trade spend, promotional accruals, and customer deductions.
  • Deliver weekly cash flow and working-capital reports, including key drivers and variances.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and financial dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to validate inventory movements, purchase orders, and freight costs.
  • Support annual audits, maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with sales tax, state filings, and other regulations.
  • Improve financial processes, reporting, and ERP/accounting system utilization; support budgeting and forecasting with actuals and variance analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 1–4 years of accounting experience in a high-growth or CPG company.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and tools, including Microsoft Office and NetSuite or SAP.
  • Ability to use AI-driven tools and analytics to optimize workflows.
  • CPA or CPA candidate status (preferred).
  • Public accounting experience (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base salary of $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience.
  • Eligibility for a 10% annual performance bonus.
