Description

  • Own the Accounts Payable process, including invoice review and coding, payment preparation, supplier reconciliations, and vendor master-data management.
  • Prepare general ledger entries, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes across group entities with external accounting firms.
  • Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations and analyze accounts to ensure accurate, supported balances.
  • Manage monthly intercompany reconciliations, recharges, and settlements.
  • Support VAT and tax compliance across jurisdictions, including VAT returns, reverse charges, and withholding taxes.
  • Prepare audit files and support annual and interim external audits.
  • Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Around 5 years of accounting experience, ideally including Big 4 audit or accounting outsourcing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, close processes, reconciliations, accruals, and the full accounting cycle.
  • Experience working with multi-entity groups and intercompany accounting; consolidation experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on Accounts Payable experience; experience coaching or reviewing junior team members is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of VAT and corporate tax compliance; international or cross-border VAT experience is preferred.
  • Experience preparing for and working with external auditors.
  • Experience with accounting software and strong Excel skills; familiarity with Xero and ApprovalMax is preferred.
  • Interest in crypto or crypto accounting is a plus.
  • Fluent English; French is a bonus.
