Description

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers.
  • Lead proof-of-value (PoV) engagements and ensure successful technical validation of VulnCheck solutions.
  • Provide technical consulting and customization to help customers integrate VulnCheck into data platforms, vendor tools, and existing workflows.
  • Train prospects and customers, troubleshoot PoV issues, and respond to product inquiries so customers can operate independently and confidently.
  • Develop custom scripts and troubleshoot performance issues related to the API, data fidelity, and CLI/SDK components.
  • Influence product development by gathering customer feedback and advocating for feature requests and enhancements.
  • Guide customers through adoption, integration, deployment, optimization, and issue resolution.
  • Provide real-time technical support and strategic guidance to help customers align VulnCheck solutions with security objectives.
  • Serve as the primary presales technical contact and help manage the customer lifecycle for long-term success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales engineer in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity product landscape, with a focus on vulnerability management.
  • Strong understanding of incident response, vulnerability management, and SOC operations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain scripts in Python.
  • Experience working with APIs and JSON.
  • Ability to build workflows in security platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, TIP, or similar tools.
  • Experience with mentorship responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with the Go programming language.
  • This role is 100% remote with preference for candidates based in the Greater Boston or Greater DMV region.
  • Employment may be contingent upon authorization to access technology subject to U.S. export control, sanctions, and related legal or contractual requirements.
