Description

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code to support team projects.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and services.
  • Collaborate with teammates to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the team's shared knowledge.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Build core APIs, data pipelines, or customer-facing interfaces as needed for the platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education and experience, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Foundational programming skills in a backend language like Python.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow as a software engineer.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Genuine passion for Voltus’s mission to create a cleaner, more resilient energy future.
  • Authorization to work in the US or Canada without sponsorship.
  • GitHub account link required in the application; applications without GitHub will not be considered.
  • Experience with Python, Postgres, Go, FastAPI, Temporal, Delta Lake, ClickHouse, TypeScript, React, Docker, HashiCorp stack, or AWS is helpful but not required.
