Description

  • Apply distributed energy resources industry knowledge to execute aggressive sales plans and exceed qualified booked meetings targets.
  • Grow and develop a team of Sales Directors.
  • Identify, build, and nurture relationships with large commercial, institutional, and industrial customers.
  • Deliver against quarterly and annual sales goals while generating cash for customers.
  • Support, coach, and develop Sales Directors to meet performance goals.
  • Own the market and territory by identifying opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Work cross-functionally to drive effective customer engagements.
  • Maintain timely reporting and sales activity management in internal CRM systems.
  • Develop and drive best practices across the organization.
  • Use data to track progress toward goals and identify opportunities to improve team performance.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent.
  • 1 year of account-relationship management or business development experience in the energy market.
  • At least 1 year of experience developing regulatory strategies, marketing communications, and customer relationships.
  • At least 1 year of experience leading sales and customer engagements and delivering projects to customer satisfaction.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Salesforce, Google Suite, or similar CRM tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with executive, product, marketing, and customer success teams on strategic initiatives and value propositions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a sales cycle and meet sales goals.
  • Telecommuting permissible from anywhere in the U.S.
  • 50% domestic travel required, mainly to visit current and prospective customers in California.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $145,000 to $150,000 per year.
