Description

  • Design and develop high-performance backend services in C#.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and modular APIs and services for connected device communication.
  • Build and maintain REST APIs with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Implement real-time event-driven systems, including push notifications, web hooks, and messaging services.
  • Design and optimize PostgreSQL and Redis systems for relational data, caching, and live data synchronization.
  • Ensure observability through monitoring and performance tracing tools such as Sentry.
  • Implement strong API security using OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, rate limiting, and input validation.
  • Manage configuration synchronization and state consistency between devices and cloud systems.
  • Build and deploy containerized services using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain high code quality, SQL optimization, and documentation standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of backend development experience using C#.
  • Proven experience designing scalable, modular microservices.
  • Deep expertise in PostgreSQL and Redis for real-time and relational data management.
  • Experience with MS SQL is preferred.
  • Extensive experience building REST APIs from schema to integration.
  • Strong foundation in API security, authentication, and authorization protocols.
  • Proficiency with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows.
  • Experience with background job processing and event-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud-agnostic design for deployment across AWS, GCP, Azure, or on-premises.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures such as MQTT, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
  • Excellent communication skills, collaborative mindset, and initiative.
  • Preferred experience with IoT architecture, device provisioning, state synchronization, and secure connectivity models.
  • Preferred experience with background job frameworks such as Celery, Hangfire, or custom queue-based systems.
  • Preferred background in telemetry, analytics, or device data pipelines.
  • Azure on-premises experience is highly desirable.
