Description

  • Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting and opportunity identification through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Build and manage a pipeline to meet annual sales targets and quarterly deal-stage KPIs.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key Department of War agencies and commands.
  • Identify stakeholders and map Virtualitics solutions to readiness mission requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers, influencers, and end users within the Department of War.
  • Sell AI software solutions as a trusted advisor across asset availability, sustainment, medical readiness, warehousing, and supply chain use cases.
  • Work with pre-sales engineering, marketing, account management, and product teams to prepare demos, proposals, and RFI/RFP responses.
  • Stay current on Department of War trends, procurement processes, and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to clearly communicate the company’s value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of successful experience in a quota-carrying Federal Account Executive role, with strong preference for Department of War experience.
  • Experience selling enterprise software, AI/ML, data analytics, or similarly complex technology solutions.
  • Proven ability to develop strategic account plans and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and contracting for AI software acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to articulate a complex value proposition to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel 40-50% as required.
  • Preferred experience with government contracting and procurement vehicles.
  • Preferred experience with MEDDIC/MEDPIC, Challenger, or other solution-selling methodologies.
  • Preferred existing relationships within Department of War logistics, sustainment, or readiness communities.
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, including interim and/or final adjudication.
