Description

  • Manage end-to-end freight forwarding operations across air, sea, and land transport modes.
  • Create shipments in internal logistics systems and maintain daily ETD and ETA updates.
  • Track shipment progress daily and proactively resolve transit delays or disruptions.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to support on-time delivery.
  • Oversee and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
  • Review customs paperwork for accuracy and compliance with trade regulations.
  • Liaise with customs brokers and regulatory authorities to meet local and international trade requirements.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records, milestones, and critical operational dates.
  • Provide regular status updates and operational reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, warehousing, and finance teams to ensure smooth logistics workflows.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing end-to-end shipments in a freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain environment.
  • Direct experience handling shipping documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
  • Ability to create shipments and track daily ETD and ETA milestones.
  • Experience working with freight forwarders, shipping lines, carriers, and customs brokers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address shipment delays, capacity constraints, and customs holds.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with a polite, professional phone manner.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills for handling multiple concurrent shipments.
  • Hands-on experience with logistics or ERP platforms such as SAP or CargoWise is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and operational reporting is preferred.
  • Experience identifying and implementing logistics process improvements to reduce costs and improve service quality is preferred.
